Corvus corax & Rubus trivialis
CORVUS CORAX x RUBUS TRIVIALIS
Common raven & blackberries
Did you know birds can get drunk on overripe, fermented berries?
This often happens after a frost passes since extreme temperature changes can make fruits extra boozy, extra fast. Unfortunately, if birds get too intoxicated, they may not be able to fly straight and are at risk of bonking into things. If you spot a bird that looks tipsy - call a wildlife rehabber! They may be able to help the little buddy rest it off.

About the series:
Memento Psychotropica: Ex Animo is a series of 5 watercolor paintings featuring psychotropic plants and fungi growing from the animals who eat them.
These plant-animal relationships have been observed by human to either show addiction, seeking behaviors, apparent enjoyment, or unintentional recreational poisoning. In the end, we may just be anthropomorphizing our megafauna friends but until then I'm filing these under "Ex Animo", i.e. "With Intention"
